Swaption text messages (SMS)

How you opt in (step by step)

1. Create a free Swaption account at https://swaption.us/signup and sign in. No phone number is collected at sign-up, and no text messages are sent at this stage.
2. Go to Account → Security in your account settings. This is the only place a mobile number can be added.
3. Type your mobile number into the Mobile Phone Number field. Entering a number alone does not enroll you in any text program.
4. Actively check the consent box shown below. It is unchecked by default, is never pre-selected, and the save button stays disabled until you check it. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of using Swaption.
5. Press Save. You are then enrolled in the program(s) you selected: Swaption Verification Codes (one-time sign-in codes) and/or Swaption Account Notifications (transactional updates about your orders, sales, swaps, and shipping labels).
6. You can turn texts off at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by unchecking the box in Account → Security. Reply HELP for help.

This is the only opt-in path. Swaption does not import phone lists, does not accept third-party or purchased numbers, does not use keyword or point-of-sale opt-in, and never sends marketing or promotional texts.

Opt-in form — Verification Codes & Account Notifications

This is an exact copy of the form Swaption members see in Account → Security when they choose to receive verification codes and account notifications by text.

The live form is at Account → Security. The consent box is never pre-selected, and text codes cannot be enabled without actively checking it.
